The Methodology program organizes monthly tutorials in which methodological experts of different backgrounds share their knowledge on a topic of choice.
All APH (methodology) researchers are cordially invited to attend these gatherings. If you are not an APH researcher, you are also free to join. The latest information about scheduled Methodology tutorials can be found on the Calendar page.
What is APH Methodology?
The Amsterdam Public Health research institute (APH) is a network institute and forms an important link between intramural clinical care, scientific research, and the extramural care practice in the metropolitan area Amsterdam. Much research performed within APH has the potential to have a direct impact on the society and in practice.
The methodology research program develops, evaluates, implements and applies instruments and methods, in order to optimally facilitate health care innovations. Methodological research topics include elements of epidemiology, biostatistics, informatics and clinimetrics / psychometrics and qualitative research.
